Founded in 2009, Friends of Portland Chinatown’s mission is to increase pedestrian traffic and raise historical and cultural awareness for Portland Chinatown.

Friends of Portland Chinatown is a grassroots group comprised of volunteers with diverse backgrounds.  We share a common desire to help revitalize Portland’s historic Old Town/Chinatown.  We are dedicated to activating the neighborhood’s two Festival Streets, NW Davis and NW Flanders streets between 3rd & 4th avenues, through arts, cultural, and community events.
